BANANA BREAD RECIPE (EGGLESS)



Food always has a special calling to me. Be it during work, during restless days or during the time I’m sleeping, the idea of eating something always brings a smile on the face.


But it’s eating right that is a must these days. Thus coming up with a recipe which is both fun to make and healthy to eat.


Ingredients required :

1. Two bananas 2. 1/4th cup jaggery. 3. 1 teaspoon oil 4. 200 gm wheat flour 5. 1 teaspoon baking powder 6. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 7. Salt 8. Nuts


Recipe is as follows :


1. Take 2 complete bananas and cut them in pieces. 2. Mash them properly in a bowl. 3. Add jaggery to it and mix it. 4. Add oil and mix properly. 5. In another bowl, take wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and crushed nuts ( almonds or any other). 6. Add the raw mix to the banana mix. 7. Hand-mix  till you get a gooey batter. 8. Preheat the oven. 9. Dust the tray for baking and put batter in it. 10. Sprinkle some nuts on top of the batter. 11. Keep the tray inside the oven for 15-20 mins. Check if it’s baked properly by inserting a toothpick. 12. Let it cool down properly for 10-15 mins. 13. Cut the bread into pieces and serve it with milk or tea or coffee.

PS: If you have a sweet tooth, you can serve it with ice cream, preferably Belgium chocolate.
