Bombay sandwiches make for a super quick and easy breakfast!! Made
with boiled veggies, green chutney and bread, these are a popular street
food from Mumbai.
Ingredients
- Potato medium , boiled or steamed
- ½ beetroot medium , boiled sliced (optional)
- 1 tomato
(sliced)
- 1 onion
medium (sliced)
- 1 Cucumber
medium (sliced)
- ½ tsp chat masala
- 4 to 6 slices Bread
- Butter
as needed (softened)
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tbsp cheese (grated)
Preparation:
1. Keep the butter out of the fridge to soften.
2. Boil potatoes and beet.
3. Slice the onions, cucumber, tomatoes and boiled beets and potatoes.
4. Prepare green chutney.
Recipe:
1. Spread the soft butter over the bread. Then spread the chutney evenly.
2. Layer the veggies potatoes and then sprinkle a dash of chat masala and cumin salt.
3. Put a slice of bread on it.
4. Similarly layer onions, beets, cucumber and then tomatoes.
5. Sprinkle chat masala and salt over each layer of
veggies.
6. Cover with another slice of bread.
7. Spread grated cheese on top of sandwich.
8. Bombay Sandwitch is ready!
