As it is obvious that the current scenario is going to last for as long as a vaccine is found to counteract COVID-19, Immunity boosting is going to play a major role in the battle.
Our immune system is the most important line of defense against various disease-causing microorganisms. It is programmed to identify and protect us from various types of threats.
Till the time a vaccine is developed against Covid-19, it’s the responsibility of our immune system to tackle this pandemic. Therefore, I’m sharing this recipe of an immunity booster drink which I drink every day and suggest everyone do so too.
Ingredients required :
1. 250gm ginger.
2. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
3. 2L Water
4. Sugar (2 bowls)
5. Honey (3 big spoons)
6. Lemon
7. Mint leaves
Recipe :
1. Take 250gm ginger and wash it properly. Peel it then.
2. Take a mixer pot and add ginger in it.
3. Add 1 tsp Turmeric powder to it and some water to the pot.
4. Now grind it properly.
5. Now take it out in a bowl and add 1L water to it.
6. Put the bowl on flame and 2bowls of sugar.
7. Boil it for 20 mins till it thickens a bit.
8. Let it cool for a few minutes and then filter it.
9. Now let the filtered part cool down properly.
10. Add 3 big spoons of honey and mix it properly.
11. Store this in a glass bottle and keep in the refrigerator.
Steps to follow while serving the drink :
1. Take 2 tsp of immunity booster drink in a glass. 2. Fill the remaining glass with water. 3. Squeeze half-lemon in it. 4. Add mint leaves (either dry or wet) 5. Mix it properly. 6. Voila! Your drink is ready.
