Mountain to Me

It shatters my spirit.

This freezing alpine air

I'm filled up by it.

like though I can breathe again.

Mountains that soar the sky,

Spot where poets Aspire, how and why

a remote location away from the chaos

Underneath a cloud with gleaming shadows.

I'm up among the trees.

They smolder and relight.

Bringing me back to you my dream

as the morning air's drips by.

Lift your gaze to a snowy peak

catch a glimpse of the future we seek.

Let your dreams rise as you whisper them out

Old and wise, the mountains announce.

This early morning wrath

This fight with my inner man,

This fight with my inner man,

And let the mountain air take here on.

Your senses come alive

a week in the mountain can change you for good

with the arrival of sunrise

I finally bloom.
