Pizza & Pizza Dough (Without Yeast)

Pizza Recipe | Pizza Dough without yeast |

Italian food has always been my favorite and pizza is a all time favorite. From only cheese to vegetable topped pizza, we all grew up.

This is an easy to make pizza recipe. I promise you’ll never want to order delivery again after you see how easy it is to make pizza at home using fresh ingredients.



Ingredients:

For Pizza Dough

- 300 gm or 3 cups all purpose flour /wheat flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon sugar

- 2 tablespoons olive oil or any neutral tasting oil

- 1 1/2 cup or add as required

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar


For Pizza Toping:

You can select any pizza topic you want from only cheese to vegetables to meat to pineapple. I like my pizza full of vegetables so I used the following :

- 2 tomato (chopped)

- 1 Capsicum (chopped)

- 1 bell pepper ( yellow and red) (chopped)

- 1 onion (chopped)

- Paneer (grated or cubes)

- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

- 1 cup Amul cheese

- Italian herbs (Oregano and Chili flakes)

- Salt as per taste


Recipe:

For Pizza Dough

- In a bowl take wheat flour

- Add salt, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and mix very well.

- Add 2 vegetable oil, lemon juice and water in parts.

- Begin to mix and then knead the dough.

- Keep on kneading the dough until it is soft and smooth. Knead at least for 10 minutes.

- The dough should become elastic and stretchable. It should not be sticky but tacky.

- Rub some olive oil all over the dough and keep covered in a bowl and let it rest for 2-2.5 hrs.

- Push one of your finger in the dough and the depression should give away.

- Knead the dough lightly before using it. If not using immediately, then wrap the dough tightly in a cling film or an aluminium foil or keep it covered in a closed container in the fridge. You can also freeze the pizza dough and it will stay good for a couple of months.


For Pizza

- Divide pizza dough in 2-3 parts and make balls of it.

- Take a ball and roll it in shape of a pizza base. Put the base on parchment paper.

- Using fork, make groves on the top surface of the dough.

- Turn on the oven.

- Apply pizza sauce or tomato ketchup and toppings.

- Spread cheese and put the pizza in the oven for 7-10 minutes.

- Homemade pizza is ready to be served!
